Sunday Allsorts services offer a less formal style of all age worship, the services are usually themed around a Christian festival or a family celebration, where there are plenty of opportunities for the whole congregation to actively participate in the service.
The singing is lively and little ones, who may become restless are encouraged to join in with all the actions!
Each service supports a charity, linked to the theme, by asking folks to donate their loose change in a ‘noisy collection’.
The name Allsorts? well at the end of the service everyone gets to eat a Liquorice All Sort as they leave.
Services are held at 9.30am at St Mary Magdalene’s, and 10.45am at St Thomas’, usually once every six weeks.
