PCC

What is a PCC? The Parochial Church Council is a group of members from the parish who work together to manage the church’s missions and activities. The PCC is responsible for making decisions on behalf of all our parishioners about how our churches operate and managing their finances.

Think of the PCC as a team that helps keep St. Thomas’ and St. Mary Magdalene’s running smoothly and ensures that it meets the needs of its members and the wider community.  PCC members bring a variety of skills and perspectives to help guide the church’s direction and growth.

The group includes clergy and churchwardens along with elected lay members. Members are elected at the Annual Parochial Church Meeting which takes place in April/May each year and usually serve a term of 3 years.
